I know this is off topic, but....

500 Years of Female Portraiture in 3 Minutes.

I stumbled across the above link while doing a little research and thought it was pretty amazing. It isn't photography, but it could be used for pose when it comes to the face and facial features.

    This is a great link Jayde! Its really well executed and you're right. It could be a good research tool for poses and facial expressions
